Mwakingwe Wins Young Investigator Award
mwakingweposterpic.jpgAgnes Mwakingwe won the 2008 Young Investigator Award at the annual meeting of the American Society for Tropical Medicine and Hygine for her presentation entitled "Real-Time In Vivo Imaging of Liver Stages of Plasmodium yoelii: Gfp/Luciferase Reporter Parasites". Agnes also won a Travel Award to attend the meeting. Agnes works with Kami Kim in the Dept. of Microbiology and Immunology.

Rachel RossContinuity Clinic is a great part of the Einstein MSTP. It may seem a bit overwhelming to spend a day each week playing out both parts of your training: researcher by day, clinician by night, but the outcome is a feeling of tremendous accomplishment. I come home after those long Thursdays not tired, but triumphant.
